All three sites, ACServer, ACDome and ACeXP have been down nearly three weeks now. Last word I heard from Lunac at
ACDome was that they were moving to a new server. ACDome seems to be there but only shows a directory. Word from ACeXP was
that new programmers were coming online and the site would be back.
This is too bad because all of the Asheron's Call Emulators are on these three sites. Will there no longer be ACE Emulators?
Who knows what is going down.

from the Smithys Anvil but have kept the names up. If no new information comes within another four weeks, I will
remove all links to Asheron's Call Emulators. This is a sad occasion considering these three are the only AC Emulators
out there and without them there will be no Asheron's Call Server Emulators.

| Microsoft Game Studios and Turbine Entertainment Software today announced that Asheron's Call 2 Fallen Kings,
the first next-generation massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), has gone gold and will ship to stores
in North America on November 22.
Asheron's Call 2 Fallen Kings will be available for an estimated retail price of $49.99 (U.S.) with a monthly
subscription of $12.95.
The dynamic world of Dereth has been reborn, and players who first set foot on its soil will find a drastically different
version of the world that they were used to in Asheron's Call. The denizens of Dereth have fled deep into shelters, and
the land above them has become twisted under dark waves of chaos for hundreds of years. After generations of
hiding in fear, the three civilized races -- the Humans, the Tumeroks, and the Lugians -- forge an alliance, setting aside their
past enmity to work side by side. All of the races will strive to reclaim their ancestral lands from the evil that has flourished in
the ruins left by the devastation. Together they will rebuild the world, and face an uncertain future.
Microsoft Game Studios and Turbine are dedicated to building, changing and enhancing the Asheron's Call 2 online
environment to offer players a compelling experience, month after month. New monthly episodes will feature an evolving,
epic storyline, introduction of new features like dungeons, quests and monsters, and environments that change in response
to player behavior.
Asheron's Call 2 Fallen Kings, the sequel to the popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG)
Asheron's Call, will advance the MMORPG genre with the advanced Turbine Engine G2 graphics engine, providing some of
the most sophisticated graphics available on a PC. Asheron's Call 2 Fallen Kings features a dynamic, evolving fantasy world
that reacts to players' behavior and actions. Developed by Turbine, the game includes features such as a revamped

entertainment, announced today that it signed a final agreement to purchase the complete Asheron’s Call massively multiplayer
online game franchise from Microsoft® Game Studios. The franchise transfer includes all Asheron’s Call intellectual properties,
including Asheron’s Call®, Asheron’s Call®: Dark Majesty and Asheron’s Call 2®: Fallen Kings™.
Asheron’s Call is a critically acclaimed franchise that brings thousands of players together within a dynamic, evolving fantasy
world. The original title launched in 1999 and since spawned an expansion pack, Asheron’s Call: Dark Majesty, and an
award-winning sequel, Asheron’s Call 2: Fallen Kings. The Asheron’s Call franchise is best known for its episodic updates,
provided by Turbine, that add new additional game features, dungeons, trophy items, hunting areas and storyline content every
month.
Turbine Entertainment Software created the idea and concepts for Asheron’s Call prior to teaming up with Microsoft. The two
companies formed a relationship in 1996 that led to the launch of the first Asheron’s Call title.
“As the franchise’s creator, Turbine has always felt a tremendous obligation to Asheron’s Call and the people who play it,” said
Jeffrey Anderson, president and CEO, Turbine Entertainment Software. “We’re excited to have the opportunity to build upon the
success that the Asheron’s Call franchise reached under Microsoft’s management.”
The complete change of ownership is expected to take nearly a year. During this transition period, Microsoft will be less and
less involved, eventually transferring all of the services back to Turbine, including testing, customer service and billing
services.
In preparation for the franchise’s arrival, Turbine has been building a customer service group to manage its games’ day-to-day
operations. Over the next year, the company will assume all responsibility for Asheron’s Call and Asheron’s Call 2 game and
player support, including customer service, tech support, quality assurance and a new billing system. Specific details and dates
regarding on-going operations of the Asheron’s Call franchise will be announced in the near future.
